Week 109: Mad Batter vs. Sakon

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNN! Brought to you by Soylent Green, it's the slightly awesome hundredandninth week in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURAGE!!! This week, we have a battle against two slightly shifty looking, cave-dwelling characters found in only two games, two of which are direct sequels the game they first appeared. Let us meet our contestants in the ring, shall we? In the purple corner is a monstrous bat-like creature encountered in both Hyrule and on Koholint Island. He was sealed away from the outside world for mysterious reasons; when awakened, he threatens those who disturb its sleep with terrifying vengeance; however, the end result is always beneficial for the hero. THIS. IS. THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTERRRRRRR!!! In the brown corner is a sneaky-looking master thief found in both Hyrule and Termina. Not above robbing old ladies in the middle of the night, he keeps his stolen goods (that is, the surplus items which he does not fence) inside a secret cave near the eastern valley. He is also somewhat of an inventor, having created an elaborate security system to deter those clever enough to sneak into his lair. THIS. IS. SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKON!!! The bat-creature is preparing a curse at this very moment, and the crafty thief is eyeing your valuables at this very minute, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!!!

The Mad Batter actually helps you instead of running around and beating up old ladies. The Mad Batter helps you out and his character is actually quite humourous :). Better dialogue. He's in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and I like both of those games better than A Link to the Past (I also like pie)also Sakon plays a bigger role in the Zelda story. Sakon funnier & better see my P.G. comment Sakon, for the most part is from Majoras Mask, and, I love that game. One other thing that is cool about him is, if you shoot a arrow at him when he steels the old lady from the Bomb Shop's bag, he blows up. That makes him the first non-playable being other than an enamy that Link can kill Sakon is just plain weird. WAY COOLER!!!! YOU KAN FREAKING KILLLLL HIM!!!!! (that is why I like him ( DIE!)) I just dont know enough about the other guy Gooooooooooo, Sakon! You hsve to hurry or you'll be late!

Week 108: Fused Shadow vs. Majora's Mask

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! Welcome to the 108th fight in the brilliance that is the TEMPLE. OF. COOOUUUUUURAGE! This week's fight is between two cursed artifacts created by ancient races, both (literally) possessing mysterious powers. Let's check them out now. In the grey corner we have an ancient, four-pieced mask created an ancient race and once held by the Interlopers. One of these pieces is worn by the Twili Midna, while the others are hidden in secret places. When used, it can transform the user into a terrible monster, giving them amazing strength. THIS. IS. THE FUUUUUUUUSED SHADOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!! In the purple corner is another ancient mask which was found by the Happy Mask Salesman and subsequently stolen by the Skull Kid. This deadly mask feeds off the user's negative emotions and gives them strange and horrifying abilities, such as controlling the Moon, withering foliage, flight, and change the appearance of other beings. THIS. IS. MAJORAAAAAA'S MAAAAAAAAAASK!!! Be careful, audience, and now LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUMBLE!!!
Votes for Fused Shadow Despite the fact Majora's Mask is win, I'm going for Fused Shadow. Simply because of the cutscene in TP's final battle where Ganondorf crushes it and you think Midna is dead. Very emotional, stuck out to me. Fused Shadow is just a lot cooler any way who wants to were some 70ds hipy mask any way You see, the Fused Shadow is better than Majora's Mask, based on what it took to defeat them. It took an overly powered Ganondorf to defeat the Fused Shadow, while it only took a little kid to defeat Majora's Mask. I choose fused shadows because it's both super powerful and somebody can control it ,while no one can control majoras mask. I don't care how powerful something is. Both tragically corrupt the unfortunate souls who come into contact with them. It's a difficult choice to make. I side with Majora's Mask because of that epic story with that poor, lone Skull Kid. --Nayru's Maiden Anonymous votes Majora's Mask is way more powerful than the Fused Shadow (it gets the Moon out of it's orbit and makes it crush on a town). Additionnaly, Majora's backstory is way more interresting than the Fused Shadow's backstory (you know that it was used for rituals by an ancient tribe, infused it whif dark magic for sacrifices but that they left it back because it was too powerful). Finally, Majora's Mask has a major role in MM whereas the fused Shadow only have a minor role in the story. Majora's Mask was based on...MM! It can drop the moon Majora's Mask is downright psychotic. The Fused Shadows are cool, but free will is better than Twilight Magic. Major's mask was an end boss. It also could have destroyed(and in some cases it does) Termina. Majora's Mask is completely insane. Insanely powerful, that is. When I play MM This creepy mask gives Me the creeps (by creeps I mean nightmares) Plus what cool name Majora !!! WOOOO GO CREEPY MASK THING !!!!!!!!!!!!! Majoras mask is so much cooler plus i love the game and the skullkid=D Gosh* Majora's mask has it's own game! I can't understand why this is a question! Go Majora! way cooler all round. i mean if it were a power contest, fused shadows could gain the upper hand BUUUUUUT! if u read the manga for majora's mask, aparantely the mask was carved out of the hide of a 12 foot tall INSANE PURPLE DRAGON! But it would lose from the Fierce Deity mask xD Majora's mask has got to be the coolest character ever, especially because it is an evil mask that has a mind of its own. Fused shadow isnt really that cool. plus, Majora's mask can make the moon fall and holds evil power!!! Majora gets my vote. So Fierce Deity can easily crush it, it's still way better than the Fused Shadow(Fierce Deity could just tap the Fused Shadows and they would break). Majoras Mask, is, well, from my favorite game and the fused shadow is 1)From my least favorite game as I mentioned it before, and 2) Is used by my least favorite Charector, Midna. Also, as an added note, Majoras Mask was so impotent that it had its own game named after it, yo dont just give names to games randomly, or else Ocarina Of Time could have been called The Legend Of Zelda:Serch For Madalions. And back then, if I was a confused customer I would think you have to go arond and seach random places. If Nintendo made The Legend Of Zelda: The Fused Shadow, I would think you have to fuse shadows with like, a Blow Torch. -Majora of The Mask Majora's mask is so much more powerful it could smash the fused shadow with the moon and the mask can control itself. To me, that seemed like a big part of Ages, and...hmm...I don't remember Aveil having that much of a story!! Not that Majora's Mask isn't a brillant game, it's just that Aveil is no match to Cap'n! Cap'n is way cooler than Aveil. Cap'n has a much better story than Aveil, and is a far more important character in his game than Aveil. Cap'n's theme music is one of the best in the Oracle games and his Pirate's Bell quest is fun. Was in two games, cooler backstory, in love with a queen and he's a skeleton!!! nuff said. Week 106: Jovani vs. Pamela's Father

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! Let us welcome you to the 106th fight in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUURAAGE!!! This week we will watch two cursed beings, both of which require our hero's help to be saved. Let's meet our contestants now. In the gold corner, we have a greedy Hylian. He sold his soul to Poes for an unimaginable amount of treasure, but he himself was turned to gold. Our hero meets him while transformed into a Wolf, where he asks the hero to retrieve Poe Souls in order to break the curse placed on him. By collecting them gradually, our hero restores his mobility as well as his cat, Gengle, and when the hero finds them all, he is transformed back into a normal Hylian. THIS. IS. JOOOOOOOVAAAAANIIIIIIIIIII!!! In the grey corner is a scientist who studies the paranormal, including the undead, fairies, and ghosts. He also developed several safety measures to protect himself and his daughter, Pamela, including a music box playing "Farewell to Gibdos". After traveling through the caverns beneath the Empty Well, he is mutated into a Gibdo; but after our hero plays the "Song of Healing", he is healed, and the curse that plagued him is sealed within a mask. THIS. IS. PAMELA'S FAAAAAAAAATHER!!! Pamela's father takes my vote! I vote for Pamela's father because When I played this I allways get creeped out by him.... So go creepy Mummy thing!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Twilight Princess? Better than Majora's Mask?! NO WAY! Majora's Mask is WAY BETTER THAN TWILIGHT PRINCESS! Plus, this guy beats every tp character!! Tp was a decent Zelda game, but most of the characters sucked! Week 105: Lulu vs. Mamu

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNN!!! Welcome to the one-hundred and fifth fight in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOUUUUUUURAGE!!! This week's fight is between two aquatic singers, one a Zora, and the other a giant frog. Let's see what these two are up to. In the turquoise corner, we have the lead singer of the popular Zora band, The Indigo-Gos. She gives birth to seven Zora Eggs, causing her to lose her voice. When they are stolen by the Gerudo Pirates, our hero recovers some from the pirates' fortress, and the rest in the domain of the Deep Pythons. The newborn tadpoles teaches the hero the "New Wave Bossa Nova", which he plays for Lulu, awakening a sleeping turtle who guides Link to the Great Bay Temple, as well as restoring Lulu's voice. THIS. IS. LUUULUUUUUUUUU!!! In the green corner is a gigantic frog. In our hero's quest to receive the seventh Instrument of the Sirens, he navigates his way through a maze of signposts to reach this creature. After our hero pays a sum of Rupees, Mamu performs a previously unreleased song, the "Frog's Song of Soul", which Link learns to play on his Ocarina, using it to awaken the dead. THIS. IS. MAMMMUUUUUUUUU!!! Our contestants are swimming into the ring now, so there's nothing more to say but LETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMBLE!!!

Lulu's story was pretty interesting, but not so much due to her as the events that transpired around her, meaning she isn't that interesting a character. Mamu, on the other hand, is a contrived, surprising and pointless cameo. His song is hilarious and can RESURRECT DEAD BIRDS, meaning you have a NEVER-ENDING SUPPLY OF CHICKEN AND WHITE MEATS. Now, what would you rather have, a huge talking turtle (who could be easily replaced by a speedboat or yacht) or a bird that lifts you out of the reach of enemies, as well as other resurrected creatures to aid you?
