  12. A giant amoeba! Something even more epic then an eel! He can CONTROL WATER! And what can Morpheel do? Just float in air? Morpha also makes the battle hard for you have to be quick on the Z targeting and the assigned C button for your longshot, while running away and avoiding the spikes on the walls.!   2. You can't even kill Morpha without a hookshot, and last time I checked, Morpheel didn't have one. Beisdes, all Morpheel can do is ram stuff, and Morpha would just reform. Morpha froze all of Zora's domain in OOT. Morpheel was just there. So, do you see? Morpha, in the end, would win.
  3. Morpha was probably my favorite boss in the LoZ series.
  4. Morpha is the hardest boss to touch, besides i owned the big centipiede on the right 20 times already

  11. Morpheel looks better then Morpha all the way, plus I dislike anything to do with Ruto, she annoys me. And Morpheel's battle was much more of a challenge, some of the bosses in OOT seemed pretty simple and easy to figure out, for me at least. DekuBaily
  12. Not that Morpha was a bad boss by any means, I thought his battle in the Water Temple was a good one, but Morpheel was indeed (like some have said) like Morpha's battle with an extra phase. Not to mention that Morpheel VASTLY outsizes Morpha's tiny nucleus. Morpheel would win hands down in a battle like this, because he has tentacles like Morpha plus more, not to mention his size. Morpheel would just eat Morpha for a snack. I like second phase bosses. The only second phase bosses in OOT were Phantom Ganon, Twinrova and Ganondorf.

  6. The second phase of the Morpheel battle is one of the best in the series. In most boss battles, you can go four directions--north, south, east, and west. Morpheel is one of the few in which you're not only going up and down, you are constantly moving in all directions. It's one of the very few truly 3-D battles out there.
  7. Yes Morpha was very coll during his time, but his batlle was much les epic than this one.
  8. oh c,mon. morpheel could eat morpha in one bite. that and morpha got pwned alot quicker than morpheel.
  9. Morpha was an anticlimactic and monotonous end to a monotonous dungeon. The water temple's only fun part was Dark Link. Also, Did an Ocarina of Time bosses before the Spirit Temple have a second phase (When the gameplay changes and doesn't go back i.e. Volvagia playing whack-a-mole doesn't count while Twinrova does). Morpheel was Morpha + a giant eel that eats Link and could eat Morpha. Also, Morpha can't manipulate water because in OoT, she would have used all of the water in the room to pwn Link...Morpheel FTW. Also Morpha was such an easy prick! If you couldn't beat Morpha, then you are a loser that shouldn't even be playing Zelda
  10. Morpheel is tons more terrifying than Morpha, and Morpheel has two awesome forms (like most other TP bosses).
  11. Morpheel is cooler and a more complicated battle. And you have to latch on to it and stab its eyeball while its swimming.
  12. Without a doubt, Morpheel takes more effort to beat than Morpha. Not only do you have to fight it first in a "Morpha form" while under water and dodging swimming bombs, but then you have to chase his eel form around while swimming, though you can't get hit easily. Plus his arena rules!
  13. Morpheel may have been very easy, but the battle was amazing! Who would've come up with fighting in a huge chamber filled with water, gaurded by a giant eel! Morpheel also looks so much cooler than morpha!
  14. The fight with Morpha didn't change at all, with Morpheel after enough hits he starts swimming around giving you a real challenge, so my vote is for this creature of the deep.

  13. Gohdan was created by the Goddesses themselves, not by a mere tribe of Hyrule. His power and abilities come from the powers of the Goddesses themselves, giving him a far greater advantage over Mazaal, who was merely a creation of the Wind Tribe.   1. Dude this was so much better. Volvagia just isn't a challenge. And unrelated it is impossible to have Nayru's Love when battling Volvagia because you would have to have the Lens of Truth which comes in play in the Shadow Temple.

  1. Volvagia just plain looks cooler than King Dodongo, plus he breaths fire, so if King Dodongo tried to breath fire , then Volvagia could easily set fire to a nearby bomb rock, therefore damaging King Dodongo (and to quote Link, " I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!").

You know, I really don't think the Temple of Courage works too well. It seems like a really good idea in theory, but in reality, there's really nothing to it - one challenger almost always get 10-30 votes more than the other one. Xykeb Zraliv 20:10, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

To anonymous vote number 1, the lens comes from the kakariko well, which you can go to after beating the forest. Here's how I did it: I got the hookshot, then beat the forest temple, went back in time, got the lens of truth, went to the ranch and got Epona, who I jumped over the bridge, freed the carpenters, went to the wasteland, got nayru's love, got killed by Leevers and guays, Turned off the game, beat the fire temple, beat the spirit temple, water temple and shadow temple, Beat ganon. It's possible to have Nayru's Love in the fire temple. You just have to be completely out of Order. (I also got the Zora's sapphire before the Goron ruby, Because I left with the bombs before beating King Dodongo.) Solar flute 23:20, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Then Stallord was defeated by Link, and since Zant was also killed, Stallord won't be brought back to life.   1. Wow... seems this guy ain't too popular! Neither of the bosses really stood out to me, but as a whole, I prefered the Earth Dungeon to the tower thingy that Stallord was in, and though a giant skeleton is definitely more badass than a fat, cartoony ghost, I've always loved using the Mirror Shield in boss battles.
  2. Well, lets think of this. Stallord guarded the Mirror of Twilight because he was brought back to life by Zant, but Jahalla was created by GANON!! Thus, Jahalla is pure dark magic, and the Stallord is just the living dead. Plus, sure, Stallord has an entire army of the undead, but, he was way too easy. (Like every other Twilight Princess boss :()
  3. "Anything involving Makar is stupid and bound to lose." AuronKaizer, have you even played Wind Waker? Jalhalla has nothing to do with Makar! He's in the EarthTemple, which involves Medli. Anyhoo, I vote for Jalhalla, since Wind Waker was simply a better game than Twilight Princess (*ducks into flame shelter*).

  6. I have to say Stallord. I love the combat field for Stallord, which is intense, and fighting him was even more of a challenge. When I first battled the Jalhalla, his strategy was easy to figure out and I beat him quite easily. Stallord was a far more formidable adversary, and was considerably more imposing of an enemy than Jalhalla, which was nothing more than an oversized poe made up of several smaller ones.   1. this is no fight.. stallord is one of the best bosses in all of the legend of zelda games
  2. Stallord is cooler, can shoot fireballs, and even survive when he is just a head, having a unique strategy(that is, until link beats him). What is Jalhalla? A mask with a ghost body (as seen in Wind Waker, when jalhalla is defeated, his body dissapears and his mask tries to flee but is eliminated)!!!. Besides, Jalhalla's only advantage over stallord is that he doesn't have a physical form, BUT this can be easily reverted by shedding light on him. Besides that, Stallord can summon Stalkins and other Stals to protect himself. And does the king of poes use poes to defend himself? No, he doesn't. So Stallord wins.
  3. I have never played Wind Waker, but Jalhalla looks stupid and Stallord was, without a doubt, the most awesome boss fight in any video game ever made.
  4. Think about it. Stallord fights to the death---even as a head alone! Jalhalla...his head....his face tries to flee. He's not even a whole begin;he's the abomination of, what, 50 toon poes?
  5. Stallord would definately win, even if Jahalla managed to get him to just a head.. Stallord's fire produces light rendering Jahalla substantial, the hit him, and the gaurdians of his first form are EXTREMELY annoying, they seem to pop ut just as i am about to spin into stallord's spine. Fruturmore the stage is f;odded with light.
  6. I personnaly think Stallord is way cooler than Jalhalla. I mean realy! What's not cool about a giant skeleton thing that can summon an army of stalkins to protect it! Plus, Stallord has two forms, both of which, are cool beyond all reason, and you get to fight him while on the spinner! THE SPINNER! That, and I realy have a thing for creatures that are obvioslly undead. If I didn't read the article about him, I wouldn't have known that Jalhalla was a ghost. He looks like a pig if you ask me. Plus Stallord has a sword in his head! Swords rule, plus it keeps him alive instead of hurting him! Besides, even if Jallhalla somehow mannaged to reduce Stallord to a head, Stallord can shoot fire in that form, therefore, Jalhalla would be Weakened and Stallord would easilly be able to hit him. Plus Stallords Fire blast takes up a lot of room, so a bunch of poes would be destroyed, and after all of the poes are destroyed, Jalhalla's mask flies away, unlike Stallord, who stays and fights to the death. At least Stallord has some honor!

I'm anonymous vote #3 for Stallord, I'd just like to add that I recently played Wind Waker and the fight against Jalhalla was an insult. HE DID NOT EVEN MANAGE TO HIT ME ONE SINGLE TIME. He was absolutely pathetic. In fact, all of the Wind Waker bosses were obscenely easy. The game was fun, but I hated the simplicity of the bosses.
