Week 134: Christine vs. Maggie

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia brings to you the umpteenth fight in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRAAAAAGE!!! This week, we have two love stricken broads, fighting to see who's more in unrequited elove. In the "Peach" corner, we have a goat(?), at least that's what the cue card says... Her hobbies include eating paper, sending love letters, and giving pictures of "herself". THIS. IS. CHRRRISSSSTIIIIIIIIIINEEE!!! In the cranberry corner, we have a poor debutante who gets trapped on a fortress like island of sorts. Falls in love with the enemy, and continues to defy her father by sending him letters. THIS. IS. MAAAAAAAAAAGGIIIIIIIEEE!!! Now, before the claws get let out in this battle to the death, LLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBLE!!!

Week 133: Lockpicker vs. Master

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia brings to you the CXXXIII fight in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRAAAAAGE!!! This week, we have two secretive masters of their respective fields of -smithery, who rarely utter any words, instead letting their work speak for them, or something like that. Initially, neither of them are of much use to the hero, but they do indeed play a part later on in getting useful items, if Link brings before them a certain item. Let us see what we can learn about this week's combatants. In the red corner is a man of few words, for whom this is not their first time in the Temple of Courage. Once a member of a band of thieves and a great locksmith, he eventually decided, through his own decision or that of others, to leave thievery behind him, and now spends his day pretending to be a mute man living in the desert. However, he will blow his cover if anyone messes about with his sign. If the hero brings a locked treasure chest before him, he agrees to open it in exchange for Link keeping his identity secret. THIS. IS. THE LOOOOOOOOOCKPICKERRRRRRRRRRR!!! In the green corner is the Subrosian master blacksmith. He seldom speaks, focusing instead intently on his work, leaving it to his clerk to deal with customers. However, he does seem to maintain some manner of dialogue with his subordinate. When brought Hard Ore, he fashions it into a durable Iron Shield for the hero to use. He also plays a part in upgrading the shield yet again, if told the appropriate secret during a Linked Game. THIS. IS. THE MAAAAAAAAAASTERRRRRRRR!!! Which will win out, the Lockpicker with his bazooka which he unfortunately locked inside a treasure chest, or the Smith with his plethora of sharp, self-forged cutlery? This, I leave up to you, the audience! ...Okay, so obviously that doesn't make sense, but play along! LLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBLE!!!
Votes for Lockpicker The Lockpicker is the ultimate Memetic Mute Badass. Deal with it. Master may share the codename of the late McDonell Miller, and is plenty cool, but this is the Lockpicker we're talking about. Week 132: Eeno vs. Sir Frosty

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! We are proud to bring you an ice (snow) cold competition between two ice (snow) cold enemies in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! In the ceil corner, we have some guy made of snow. Nobody actually knows how he came into existence, but we do know he's made of snow. He hangs out with his hooligan buddies throwing snowballs at people in Snowhead... Doesn't he know those snowballs are potential for new Eeno buddies? Just beat him with fire. THIS. IS. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! In the bleu de France corner is another guy made of snow. He chills in the Snow Realm, no pun intended, throwing body parts at the Spirit Train and other stuff (what a life). A blast of a steaming hot mass of iron from the cannon can do a lot of damage here. THIS. IS. SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIR FROOOOOOOOOOOOSTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Now, its time for these two to fight fire with fire. Too bad they are both made of a substance that will melt when in close proximity of anything over 17 degrees Celsius. Votes for Eeno These guys can freak you out proper if you wander around the Snowpeak area of Termina Field at night without knowing of their existence. They also make a weird noise, which is always cool. Sorry, but ClayFighter already did the definitive subversion of Frosty the Snowman. These guys can be terrifying when randomly walking around the Snowhead area of Termina and you don't know they're there. The other snow creature thing is just Frosty the Snowman gone wild. Not very threatening. Eeno is so much better than a lame snowman. I wonder if they were just running out of enemies, like they are is running out of bosses. For example: Fraaz = Blaaz I've never played ST... Eeno is so much better than sir frosty Who would vote for a snowman with a detatchable head apparently all of you -> this baddie looks a hell of a lot more deadly than the sir frostys. I swear, the S.F's are easy to beat and avoid; and let's not forget how they shame all zelda monsters by looking so dang cute and non-deadly. the first time I spotted one of those I thought it was a random snowman. at least until it throwed its head at me. I quickly memorized each Sir Frosty location, while the Eenos would still jump out and startle me. Week 131: Igos' Servants vs. Koume and Kotake

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia is a little late on the ball this week, but is now prepared to present a match-up between two pairs of evil henchmen in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! In the purple corner, we have two skeletal baddies that have long inhabited the barren land of Ikana as undead bodyguards to their master, Igos du Ikana. They are confident in their skills, even claiming to be the best in all of Ikana, and are ready to pin the blame on each other if things don't work out. THEY. ARE. IGOOOOOOOOSSS' SEEEEEEERVAAAAAAAAAAAAANTS!!! In the turquoise corner are two diabolical witches that blindly follow their surrogate son, Ganondorf. They can combine to form a powerful sorceress known as Twinrova, and will do so if need be. Like their opponents, a loss will not go over well, and we can expect to see some internal arguments if this should occur. THEY. ARE. KOUUUUUUUUUUMEEEEE AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDD KOOOOOOOOOTAAAAAAAAAAAKEEEEEE!!! Now, lets allow shenanigans to ensue! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia is glad to present a round of Moblin bashing in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! In the brown corner, we have a giant Moblin wielding a club. It is only seen in the Sacred Forest Meadow, although it appears again in the Spirit Temple in an altered version of the game. THIS. IS. THE CLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBBBB MOOOOOOOBBBBBLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNN!!! In the grey corner, we have a statue... a statue of a Moblin? It is found in the Forsaken Fortress and shoots lasers. Another one is found in the Savage Labyrinth. THIS. IS. THE MOOOOOOBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNN STAAAAAATTTTUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEE!!! Now, lets watch as these two Moblins (things) duke it out! They're WAY more intimidating than some statue I've never seen before. I mean, come on. A statue of a moblin vs. an ACTUAL moblin with a club as big as Link is, if not bigger? There's no contest there. If I try to count the number of times he sent me flying backwards when I was a little boy who could not think of a way to avoid it, I remember getting quite frustrated.. and the statues hardly ever hit me, only when I tried photographing them, not knowing they cannot be made into a figurine.. I like the Club Moblins I think their better because they are more of a challenge to beat. They have a BIG CLUB!! Much cooler then a laser beam. These guys got on my nerves so much. Because of that, I started liking them. They make great guards and are really fun to kill once you get fire arrows. Sure, the moblin statues are probably much cooler than the six foot tall ones bcause they're made of stone and they appear more than once, but I personaly don't care. I think that these guys deserve my vote. Mr.Fairy The normal Moblins got me angry and when I got past them I thought it was all over but then I saw this guy. I almost crapped my pants and they are annoying when I want to get to that fairy fountain I'm almost there about to kill him then he whacks me and I have to restart I can't believe there is a contest for this. you have an incredibly hard foe v.s. a statue that's incredibly easy to avoid! seriously, the club moblin wins hands down Although the Club Moblins are much more original than the statues, I don't see why they were so hard for everyone. In the million times I've gone through the Sacred Forest Meadow, I've been hit maybe twice. As for the statues, although they surprised me like they did everyone else, I quickly found that they only shoot about three square feet on the bottom floor (and that's when they even appear). The ones in the Savage Labyrinth were boring... breathing flame is much less original than lasers. I didn't know there was a statue, much less one shooting lasers. Also, they annoyed the heck out of me in the savage labyrinth. Four darknuts is hard enough withOUT the statues getting in your way. OK, c'mon guys, an invincible statue that shoots lasers. Clubby did a good job for around 5 seconds before I ran right up to him, but this guy was a pain. Moblin has my vote. I don,t know why. I just like him better. Lasers. That's it. It's a statue. I feel bad for it. Just swirling around in a stupid little castle, with nothing better to do then shoot little children who come by to look for their friend. Yes, this thing has always freaked me out.
