LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AAAAAAAAAAAAND GEEEEEEEEEENTLEMEEEEEEEEEENNNN!!! It's time once again for the TEMPLE. OF. COOUUUUUUUUUUUURAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! This week's fight is between two demonic, frightening, and cursed contestants who mean no actual harm. Let's meet them in the ring now.
In the Gratitude Crystal Orange corner is a large, blue, bat-like demon residing far underneath Skyloft. When our hero first meets this creature, he mistakes him for an actual threat; however, this harmless demon simply likes to play possibly questionable screaming games with children. Desiring to be a human, he asks the hero to bring him 80 Gratitude Crystals to fix his problem. Like a bat out of heck, THIS. IS. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATREEEEEEEEEEEEAUX!!! Peanut Gallery[]Glad to see the fight switch time is getting back on track. Honestly, though, I'm a little disappointed the last one's over. I actually liked it. Still interested in what the outcome is going to be here, though. It doesn't look like one clear winner. Okay, I'll stop rambling now.
Anon 3 for the Fab Rich Family...no, not really. The "Misunderstood Monster" is a, well, monster who doesn't act monstrous but everyone thinks they do and act accordingly. The Fab Rich Family is a greedy family who were cursed because of this, and afterwards beg Link to save them. Evnyofdeath 15:53, December 12, 2011 (UTC) Ike...you're talking about the "Missing Sister" quest? Er...you do get Gratitude Crystals from her...AND her brother...totalling 10... First off, I'm glad the fights are being changed out like this, after a certain fight that went on for over a month, not close at all. And I have checked the history, and found that anons are not allowed to sign in the votes, and I assumed this carried over to the comments section. --24.84.0.49 22:37, December 13, 2011 (UTC) Lincoln, having a French name doesn't mean you're French. Listen to the way Batreaux talks, he doesn't have an accent. I mean...my first name is gaelic in origin, and my last name has both Native American and European roots to it, yet that doesn't mean I'm Gaelic or Native American. Evnyofdeath 21:14, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
So, "French" is the new "gay", it seems. --AuronKaizer! 22:32, December 14, 2011 (UTC) Erm you guys know I'm joking right? I'm friends with several French people :-P--Abrahamlinkoln (talk) 20:02, December 15, 2011 (UTC)

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AAAAAAAAAAAAND GEEEEEEEEEENTLEMEEEEEEEEEENNNN!!! Zeldapedia brings you the one-hundred-and-fifty-third battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRAGE! To celebrate the release of the newest addition to our beloved series, we bring to you the first-ever battle featuring a character from Skyward Sword! We are headed for a battle between two masters of sword and sorcery (swordcery?), and antagonists of the legendary hero. Let's see what the Tale of the Tape has to say about our two combatants.
In the maroon corner is a mysterious, lean figure whose flamboyant clothing and mannerisms belie a sadistic and manipulative nature without peer. The self-styled "Demon Lord" of the monsters inhabiting The Surface, he fights (and creeps out) the hero on multiple occasions, his threat increasing with each struggle. THIS. IS. GHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRAHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMM!!! In the purple corner is a powerful Wind Mage. Originally the apprentice of Minish inventor Ezlo, he used his master's powerful wish-granting cap to obtain great power, and transformed his former master into a bird-shaped hat. In his quest for ever more power, he comes to hear of the powerful Light Force of legend; during a confrontation with the hero, he turns the princess to stone. Once discovered, he uses the Light Force to gain a small measure of its power, but ultimately fails to defeat the hero, and is sealed within a sword. He is eventually able to escape his confinement, only to be defeated again. THIS. IS. VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! Sparks of both a magical and... sword-clashy nature will fly during this heated battle! Will the new blood triumph, or will the old guard knock this young whippersnapper down? This decision, we leave to the audience! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!! | ||||||

Peanut Gallery[]Wow, that was fast. I'm happy to be seeing this; have wanted to vote for a while now. Vaati and Ghirahim kinda look similar, exept of course that one is chibi style and the other seems to take exception to clothing. To anon. vote 7 (obvious which side it's on), when is he a nudist? I may be only halfway through the game (more or less) but I have never heard anything mentioning a lack of clothes. Anons, please, LOOK at Ghirahim. He is not a nudist, he simply has white skin and wears white clothes. If you can't see it in his artwork, look at his actual model. What if there was a battle between all the links to determine which incarnation of link is the best? What if someone who were actually registered commented here? Seriously, I don't think I've seen this many anon comments in a row since I started voting here. Can people please stop referencing Ghirahim as "gay"? You don't know who might get offended (especially since its being used as a reason for voting against him). --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 20:51, December 10, 2011 (UTC)

Peanut Gallery[]Well, we all knew this was coming, but it's a bit surprising to see only one anonymous vote on one side and a wall of them on the other. Yes, I know I'm part of that wall. (oh well, I'm just eagerly anticipating the next fight, knowing who I'm going to vote for and what I'm going to say) If it's not changed when I get home, since it's a day overdue, I'll change it out for the new fight. – Jäzzi 18:33, December 6, 2011 (UTC) |

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia brings to you the one hundred and fifty-first battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGE!!! This week, we have a battle between two instrument-wielding musicians who share... very few similarities beyond their sorta-similar vocation. ...What, this is what you've given me to work with? Well, you voted the fight in, so... on your heads be it! Let's see what our two contestants have to their name!
In the blue corner, hailing from Zora Hall, located off the Great Bay Coast found in western Termina... he is the long-haired (-finned?) bassist of the all-Zora band known as The Indigo-Go's. Good friends with band colleague Mikau, before tragedy struck The Indigo-Go's, the two regularly held jam sessions, one of which resulted in the imaginatively titled masterpiece "Jam Session", their newest hit single inexplicably credited to bandleader Evan. Dudes... THIS. IS. JAAAAAAAAAAAAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!! In the grey corner is the wandering musical prophet of Holodrum... when he's not spending his time dozing off, he provides our hero with sage advice in an easy-listening key of A major. He is easily separated from the crowd owing to his neat dark sunglasses, strange instrument and his pride and joy, the record-setting snooze bubbles emanating from his nose at nearly any given time. THIS. IS. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!! By fortuitous happenstance, our contestants will lessen our already-strained budget by performing their own entrance music (rest assured, these funds will not be spent on collector's edition Teletubbies silverware sets). Don't forget to pick up their newest albums, available at our concession stands for thrice the recommended retail price! Lads and lasses... Peanut Gallery[]You know, I like the irony of the fight choices when looking at this one and last one. (I'd say "week" but... Oh well)
I know... (not my vote but) now I've been seeing Rosa and Sokra forming a band together. And I haven't even played that game. I kind of want to see a creepy battle, like ??? vs Tingle. That would be the battle to see! I know that I am not allowed to suggest a fight, but is it possible for someone who can to please suggest a fight between Doctor Borville and Lake Scientist? Um. I know a user should be the one to say this but you can't suggest fights for someone else. Sorry, but that's the way it is. By the way, the "register" button is at the top right. And if you don't want a username for some reason, well then, okay, just know you can't suggest fights. Per the Anon above me. It's against the rules to suggest fights for someone else. And I think that's already happened. – Jäzzi 14:13, November 24, 2011 (UTC) |
Week 150: Lulu vs. Rosa[]

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia brings to you the landmark 150th Battle Spectacular in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAGE!!! To celebrate this, we've gathered two of the most famous musicians in their respective homelands. But rather than having them perform their newest hit singles (or their latest electronic noise, depending on who you're asking) we have them duke it out in a battle to the DEAF! (The cost of this pun constitutes of 90% of our allotted budget, please applaud accordingly.) For those of you who've been living under a rock (Old Men notwithstanding), here are their respective discographies:
In the light blue corner, from the western Great Bay of Termina... we have a member of The Indigo-Go's, the biggest-selling (and, in truth, t'only) all-Zora musical group in existence, renowned throughout their country for their "deep-sea sound." Daughter of the lead singer of a previous iteration of the group, her vocal stylings are legend. However, she came afoul of events beyond her control and lost her voice; when it was restored, her singing voice awoke a giant turtle guardian who would lead the hero to Great Bay Temple, wherein he defeats its evil guardian, restoring peace to her homeland. THIS. IS. LUUUUUUUUUUUUULUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! In the light red corner, from the subterranean secret land of Subrosia... she is the biggest pop star in all the land (that is, a land which takes about 2 minutes to traverse from east to west) and is easily told apart from her fellow Subrosians by her distinctive robes and fashionable red bow, and the Master Key of Subrosia, which she carries with her at all times. She is the one who inadvertently shows the hero the way into Subrosia; later, when she goes on a "date" with the hero after he provides her with a gift, he uses her key to open a locked door in the Temple of Seasons. THIS. IS. ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Ticket prices have been severely increased for this festive occasion, as our two divas' rider lists of provisions included such luxuries as trained (but not too trained) choirs of mezzo-soprano clownfish, vintage 300-years old Chateau Romani, and TVs permanently broadcasting re-runs of Perfect Strangers. But we trust that our fans will turn up in droves anyway because of the loyalty our unyielding punctuality with posting new fights have garnered us. Crickets... Peanut Gallery[]I looked at the suggestions and I was surprised; unlike Weeks 50 and 100, there were no "epic" fight suggestions, not that it matters, just surprised. Edit: This is still an epic fight. Yay Rosa! |
