Week 32: Stalfos vs. Lizalfos[]

Stalfos
Winner!
"Stalfos!"
Stalfos
Lizalfos
GEEEEETTTTT RRREEEAAADDDYYY TTTTTOOO RRRRRUUUMMMBBBLLLEEE!!!!!!!!!

In the silver corner we have what you could possibly become...a STALLLLLFFFFOOOOSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

And in the green corner we have a gruesomely pleasant picture of...a LIZALFOOOOOSSSSSSS??????????????

Well...LET'S GET STARTED.

Votes for Stalfos[]

  1. Stalfos wins this. Everybody knows that Skeletons are awesome, because, y'know, we are all more or less Skeletons. Skeletons are up there with Ninjas, Pirates and Lawyers. Plus, Stalfos battles are always cool, especially in Ocarina of Time where it takes some skill to dodge their attacks and hit 'em when they're not blockin'. As for the anthropomorphic lizards, I beat them so fast in Ocarina of Time the first time that I did in fact blurt out a genuine "WTF" at the age of 10. That sort of explains a lot... --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 04:55, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. As hard of a decision as that was, I'm going to go with the Stalfos. The Lizalfos are very annoying and very easy to beat. The Stalfos have occurred more often in the Legend of Zelda series than the Lizalfos have, and Stalfos have many different forms. They're also a much more difficult opponent than the Lizalfos. SheikahPhilosopher
  3. Skeletons are awesome. That's the only reason I need in order to vote for these guys. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:11, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  4. For fighting a Lizalfos, you just chop away with your sword and it dies. For a Stalfos fight, there's a lot of circling and blocking involved. Oddball464 12:00, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. I pick Stalfos 'cause they are freaking hard.User:Dragonmaster kayla
  6. Like Xykeb (hoping I spelled that right cause I certainly can't pronounce it) said, they're skeletons, which are frikin awesome. Just like Jack Skellington. Xicera 01:41, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
  7. Ugh, Lizalfos I hates them -- User:Nhigirl
  8. --BigCubby 18:53, 26 January 2009 (UTC)It is actually difficult to beat.
  9. I'll gop with their OOT incarnations for the vote.... and Stalfos wins it. by far. -LeoLab 21:50, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
  10. Well, Stalfos are already dead, so to speak, so you can't really "Kill" them. Yep, think that about covers it —Triforce 14(...) 22:10, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
  11. Don't have to say much else except that UNDEAD GUYS RULE! Sincerely, Watcher
  12. Zeldamaniac95
  13. If it were vs. Dinolfos/Dinofols/Dynalfos I'd vote for the DDD. But Stalfos can own Lizalfos any day. Come on! Lizalfos have swords and that's it. Stalfos have swords, shields, maces and some need to be blown up or smashed to be permanently defeated. Portal-Kombat
  14. It's a skeleton,plus it's awesome-looking. Not much more explanation possible. Polaris000
  15. I'm going to have to go with Stalfos, considering how difficult it can be to defeat some incarnations in various games.Twoface13
  16. Dude seriously? Lizalfos just sounds like my mom when she's pissed, and undead cannot die. )..
  17. They are harder to fight OddGoron
  18. Stalfos are the elite; Lizalfos are obviously going down. Leo604 19:30, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

  1. Stalfos are harder to beat and more awesome!
  2. Stalfos are just better. lol. it's over 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. skeletons are cool so i'm voting for stalfos
  4. Stalfos. In OoT, the lizalfos just screamed and missed a lot but the Stalfos are I think real good fighters.
  5. C'mon people! these ones are just greater foes to fight with!
  6. ughhhhh obviously stalfos cuz they could kick a lizalfos butt and lizalfos is too complicated to say
  7. One Jumping hit = Death with only three hearts in OoT. Lizalfos leave breathing room. Also, the Mini-boss in the Catfish's Maw, from Link's Awakening, is a Giantic Stalfos that has stolen the hook shot as to prevent you from completing the game. Further more, once you take him down with your sword you then have to blow him up with your bombs. And even further you fight him a grand total of FOUR TIMES. If that isn't strength I don't know what is.
  8. Stalfos is better because he is a b**** to fight. You have to blow him up with bombs, but if you don't have any, you're screwed. Plus, he can't actually die.
  9. don't really care about ocarina of time's versian of these two, but in twilight princess the stalfos are just awsomeness in a jar.
  10. I made a comment about this fight and stalfos are the living dead so i'm voting for them.Mr.Fairy
  11. In OoT, Lizalfos first appeared as a miniboss in Dodongo's Cavern, when Link was a child. Stalfos first (I think) appeared in the Forest Temple as a miniboss, when Link was an adult. Given that, if anything, the Stalfos were harder, and the fact that Link can use more powerful weapons, Stalfos are much tougher. In TP, they're more of a nuisance. You have to remember to bomb their bones. Stallord, the boss of the Arbiter's Grounds, is another example of why I think Stalfos are tougher. If it was Stalfos vs. Dinolfos, it would be a harder choice, but it isn't. Enough said.
  12. Stalfos are AWESOME! Lizalfos are hardly a challenge and all they do is jump and make weak attacks and make wierd noises, BUT STALFOS ARE DEAD AND DEAD THINGS ARE COOL!!! They're my second favorite enemy! And in Twilight Princess you blow them up with bombs and if you don't have any the fight will never end and lizalfos only take about 3 hits so stalfos are better.
  13. Lizalfos are just plain moronic, and that is why they are only in Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask.

Votes for Lizalfos[]

  1. Just look at the picture, enough seen right?--Power courage wisdom and time 04:00, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. i say lizalfos because they seem to be a bit tougher than stalfos User:Twilitlink
  3. im tied here but ill vote for lizafols mainly because i love dinofols Oni Dark Link
  4. What can I say, I like reptiles. --Moblin Slayer 15:16, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. Ummm...Lizafols can become stalfos, so they must be good already? (stretching things...) Dialask77 23:10, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
  6. Lizalfos are awesome, 'nuf said Herooftwilight 02:29, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

  1. One. I like lizards. Two. Lizalfos (To me anyway) are more fearsome looking than stalfos. They also take longer for me to take down. Lizalfos all the way.
  2. For some reason, I had so much more trouble fighting a Lizlafos than when I was fighting a Stalfos.. So I say Lizlafos are better!
  3. It's a dinosaur carrying a sword. Seriously.
  4. Stalfos are usually really easy to kill. They were only hard in OoT.
  5. How is a walking pile of bones going to beat a living, breathing, creature, WITH A SCIMITAR. Lizalfos will win.
  6. stalfoes are just little annoyences. lizalfoes, however, provide us with a nice challenge.

Peanut Gallery[]

Hang on. This fight tied with Wart vs. Deku Toad. Shouldn't there be some sort of tie-breaker or something before we just make a new fight? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 05:16, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Um, Twilitlink, all versions of Stalfos I've seen have been tougher than any of the versions of Lizalfos I've seen. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:13, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

is it just my computer or does the home page still say king bulbin v iron knuckle on the home page Oni Dark Link

I just fixed that. Bek The Conqueror 19:45, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Wow, pretty close so far. If this keeps up, we could have the closest Temple of Courage fight ever. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:04, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Nooo...don't jinx it :P --Moblin Slayer 02:20, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Xicera, it's pronounced "Zye" (so that it rhymes with "dye") and then "kebb" (nothing that rhymes with that comes to mind, but it should be self-explanatory). Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Um, vaguely rhyming like bed? Bah, I hoped this would be a close fight, but statistically lizafols are simply inferior to stalfos. Dialask77 21:08, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey guys, my dad said yes, and I'M A MEMBER! WOOWHOOOOO! Come on over to my user page! Sincerely, Watcher

Minor problem; I just went to the suggestions page while logged on, and it wouln't let me do anything even though I'm a member now. Any suggestions? Sincerely, Watcher

You have to wait a few days before accessing a semi-protected page, as I'm sure the Suggestions page is. It's the wiki's way of making sure people don't just create random accounts for the purpose of sockpuppeting on forums and such. By the way, congrats on becoming a member. I look forward to working with you. Bek The Conqueror 03:09, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Kay, that helps, thanks. Is it your real name, or did you came up with that name yourself, Xykeb? I've never heard anything like it. XD ~Xicera

Well, I wish that were my real name.... Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:52, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

When was the last time there was actually a close fight and if there has ever been what are the chances of it happening again. Metroidhunter32 02:36, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

The closest fight I can remember was Volvagia vs. Argorok. I can't remember how long ago that was, though. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 02:40, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

So...who bets that there will be more misspellings of Stalfos and Lizalfos than there were of Fierce "Diety" Link when it's all said and done? --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 05:24, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

i think you were right moblin slayer. we shouldnt of hoped for a close fight. Oni Dark Link

Next week, am I allowed to try my Darknut vs. Dark Link suggestion? Dialask77 14:12, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

XD I wish my name were Namine, too. But I guess I'll have to settle for Erica... XD Actually, I think Deity will win with more misspelling because of the 'I before E' thing. From Xicera, the so called emo/Gothic chick

it says two weeks dialask so i think its the week after. get that up there because i think its a good suggestion. Oni Dark Link

Hey everyone, I have an anouncement. On my user page, I've decided to set up something called "The Best Way To..." It's just an entertaining open poll to the uesers of Zeldapedia where every week I ask what's the best way to do a scenario, and you post your anser. It's not a competition, and is purely set up for the entertainment of visitors. Come check it out! Sincerely, Watcher

look,it's to obvious that these guys are to different and that's all i'm saying about the matter.Mr.Fairy

Look Watcher,i like your idea a little bit but i think you should have put your idea down here and let more people than yourself decide if you should do this or not.Mr.Fairy

It's his userpage and he can do whatever he wants with it, unless what he puts there is inappropriate, which it isn't in this case. What he chooses to do with his userpage is really none of your business. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

mr fairy is suggesting we make it an offical thing like the templeof courage Oni Dark Link

I could be wrong, but hasn't it been more than a week? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:34, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Keep your pants on everyone, I'm on it! Sincerely, Watcher

I remeber suggesting this once. Solar flute

Week 31: King Bulblin vs. Iron Knuckle[]

King Bulblin
Winner!
"Iron Knuckle"
Iron Knuckle Artwork (Ocarina of Time)
Iron Knuckle Artwork (Ocarina of Time)
LLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We now are proud to give to you the thirty-first week of the Temple of Courage! All right! Due to the dangerous nature of this week's combatants, we advise you to not sit in the ringside seats.

In the green corner, we have one of Ganons most faithful servants. While he's a chunky guy, he can move fast if he needs to, commands his own legion of servants, and riding a boar, it's KING BULBLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!

And in the gold corner, we have one of the deadliest enemies Link has ever faced. This guy wields a huge ax, is covered from head to toe in armor, and towers over all adversaries, it's IRON KNUCKLLLLLLLE!

So, two huge, ax-wielding, deadly, deadly monsters facing off this week! Who will win? That, my dear voters is up to you. I can't stand these delays, so, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLETS GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Votes for King Bulblin[]

  1. Although the obvious choice would be the Iron Knuckle I would have to say Mr. Bulblin cause it seems he can survive anything! I mean he's fallen off two very high bridges and been slahed repeatedly by Link and yet he's still alive in the ending credits. Yet if you know what your doing you can finish an Iron Knuckle off within minutes - Joely Hero of Time
  2. Got to go with Bulbin because he is very persistent Twilitlink 04:01, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
  3. i got to vote for anyone who can defy gravity and hover in the air. I mean, how else would he have survived falling from those bridges????? Oliver Platt 14:51, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
  4. This is a no brainer. King Bulblin must win; falling off bridges twice and 2 ground battles earns him the win. Leo604 00:20, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. While there have been some great IK's in Zelda history, my vote goes to the King of the Bullblin tribe. Every single time this guy made an appearance it caught me off guard. I was so sure he was toast after every every encounter (except for that one time it was obvious he escapes), and the little scene between him and Barnes is one of my favorite moments in all of Zelda. This guy just never, ever accepts defeat, and that's got to count for something. DokujaOh

Anonymous votes[]

  1. I have to say my fav of the 2 is Kingy, because he stole Colin, and I just hate Colin! D:<
  2. I loved the horseback combat in TP and you fight this guy on horse back most times.
  3. He's just better!
  4. he survived ill the end of twilighjt princess he would win
  5. He's just better.

Votes for Iron Knuckle[]

  1. Huge, shiny armor-clad guys wielding axes own pretty much everything unfortunate enough to be in their way. While King Bulblin was a cool opponent with some character development, he could be easily beaten by an Irish beggar with one hand and half a bottle of Tullamore Dew left, much less serving as any challenge for axe-wielding homicidal maniacs. Hell, most of the Iron Knuckles, being re-animated suits of armor, will not feel pain when struck either. --[[User:|Auron]][[User talk:|]](...!) 02:10, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. King Bulblin was way too easy. Iron Knuckles at least serve as an entertaining fight without dying 45 seconds in. Also, the nostalgic feeling I get when I remember being 7 and being terrified of these things is too strong to not vote for these guys. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 02:58, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
  3. Yeah, AK pretty much summed it up. And being 75% Irish, I'd know who an Irish beggar could or couldn't beat. And before anybody says anything, AK didn't offend me at all, I found the comment hilarious. --Moblin Slayer 02:57, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
  4. Hmm, Giant axe, full armor, not to mention incredible speed if the armor happens to be destroyed. Iron Knuckle all the way. King Bulblin is just to clumsy—Triforce 14(...) 05:08, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. Bulbin was too easy. Iron knuckes can kill anything. -LeoLab 16:57, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
  6. simply the best non boss enmy (well they are a boss on there horse) in the series. Oni Dark Link
  7. I am so totally voting for Darknut. User:Dragonmaster kayla
  8. Big ugly guy vs Big armored guy? I think we see where I am going with this train of thought... Dialask77 03:38, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
  9. I think Iron Knuckle, because he has like a 300 pound axe and he's not obese, anyways King fatties axe isnt even sharp. Peakprovince 6:06 22 Jan 09
  10. Zeldamaniac95
  11. Is it even posible for this guy to lose? Here's how I figure it... it took me 3 trys to beat Iron Knuckle. It took me about 3 seconds to beat chuby over there. Mr. Clean with Hair (Xicera)
  12. King Bulblin was an easy fight, and beating these guys is the ultimate test of strength for a Zelda gamer. Oddball464 14:41 23 January 2009 (UTC)
  13. Iron knuckle is way cooler, plus he has a giant ax. His fight is much better. King Bulblin is just annoying. Polaris000

  1. misteergame wel its easy who would win a giant suit of armor that is realy strong or a fat retard on a boar
  2. even with the crappy graphics of Ocrina of Time, the armor of an iron knuckle is so shiny.. I don't want to see Lord Bulbin so shiny
  3. I would go with the Iron Knuckle for many reasons. For one, they are better armed than King Bulbin, another because they are stronger than King Bulbin And finaly because they don't follow you throughout the game without dying until the last dungeon.Mr.fairy
  4. To easy of a choice. Big, armored, strong, can be very, very fast, not a fatty; Iron Knuckle has to many statistical advantages over King Bulblin for me to say otherwise. And I've never faced one! Sincerely, Watcher.

Peanut Gallery[]

Uhh, guys, even though I did it this week, the screw up on Temple of Courage is not my fault. The whole thing looked perfectly fine when I did it. Someone must have deleted the past few weeks of fights, and we need to get them back! Sincerely, Watcher.

Do you use the Recent changes page? 'Cause in case you do (most editors do, at least) you'd know that I archived the old fights as it was getting hard to edit the article. I'm just sayin'. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 02:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

AuronKaizer you have offended me Oni Dark Link

Well, you know what they say, controver$y create$ ca$h. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 18:33, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
hmmmmmm... im not so sure Oni Dark Link

Watcher not that i think you made the screwup but you might have done the smallest little screwup.Mr.Fairy Er, in what way has he offended you. He hasn't offended me Mr. fairy

In edition to what i said to watcher earlier, You said you didn't do anything but i know you did something you big,fat liar.Mr Fairy

Ahh, that's what was going on. Sorry AK, I didn't know that you were moving them. If I offended any of you, I'm sorry. Except to this Mr. Fariy guy (Watcher immitator? Watcher hater? What is wrong with you?!? You don't have to be so rude.) And just so everyone knows, I'm male. Sincerely, Watcher.

That's what happens when you're popular; people start imitating you. Just ask that punk Seth MacFarlane, he stole my act. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 00:32, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
I'd say that's my curse, but since in real life I'm not all that popular... Anyways, how long has it been since we had a fight that wasn't totaly one-sided? I hate to seem like I'm just voting for the popular guy. Not that I am, though! Sincerely, Watcher.

It pains me to see someone so good lose so badly, even to somebody as good. Metroidhunter32 00:37, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I was surprised to see this big a squash match too. I had a hard time choosing...okay, so I didn't. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 00:43, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Why don't we have a fight between the two most popular subjects so we can have a closer fight than what we have been having? Dialask77 03:25, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

That's what we do anyways. The problem is that when it comes down to the voting, people usualy overwhelm one particular side. Sincerely, Watcher.

Yeah, we also have the guys go with the flow and vote for whoever's winning, the guys who haven't heard of the other character/enemy or we're just lucky enough to have one fighter that is just way more popular than the other one. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 08:20, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I'm back, but not for long... Oliver Platt 14:52, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I am talking about them being closely related. Why don't we just yank two of the most popular people from the series...say darknut and dark link... and get them to fight even though they aren't related Dialask77 15:26, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

good idea dialask. you should suggest it. theres no rule saying they have to have a connection. o and isnt that oliver plat guy the one who thought he was annoying us all by making up stuff? wasnt he banned?Oni Dark Link

He wasn't banned; he just "left his boss" and hasn't edited since then until now. --Moblin Slayer 17:05, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

yeah i edited an update at the same time you wrote that to me Oni Dark Link

I know it's a crazy idea, but wouldn't it be cool if we took a bunch of people from the Zelda series and make like a bracket and keep doing temple of courage fights (more like votes) until we come out with a winner? You know like a tournament? Or like the football bracket thing my dad always gets? Sorry if it's a stupid idea. Mr. Clean with Hair (Xicera)`

Yeah but what would we do after that was over? Just starting over wouldn't be the same. Metroidhunter32 21:51, 23 January 2009 (UTC) Yeah, you're right. It sounded cool at the time, but now that I think about it, I guess not... Ah well! =3 Xicera

Week 30: Fierce Deity Link vs. Dark Link[]

Fierce Deity Link
Winner!
"Fierce Deity Link!"
Fierce Deity Link
Dark Link
Attention everybody, attention! We are now proud to present Week 30 of the Temple of Courage on Zeldapedia! And this week, we've got a real winner for you. Our combatants are the same person!!! Well, Sort of.

In the white, we have the regular Link's evil counterpart! A man of unknown origins, he's everything the Hero of Time isn't, but everything he is at the same time, DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK LIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK!!!

And in the dark blue corner, we have what could possibly be the most powerful mask ever. Trapped in a mask for many years, he exerts his influence over any one who wears it, and gives the wearer enough power to defeat Majora, FIERCE, DEITY, LIIIIIIIIIIINK!

So, we have Link's two darker sides going el hombre al hombre against each other. Who will come out on top? That's up to you voters. The suspense is killing me, so LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETS GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! YEAH!

Votes for Fierce Deity Link[]

  1. This was a tough decision for me. Don't get me wrong i love dark link. but he appears in various games, and how often do you see fierce deity? And fierce diety is like eight feet tall, shoots magic out of his 5 foot long sword, and he has silver hair. yeah. h0lydiv3r420
  2. extremly hard because i love both these charicters so much (even look at my name!) but i think looking at the pictures i just had to chose fierce deity link because thats not a proper picture of dark link. i wanted to go for dark link aswell though because not as many people voted for him.... its just too hard to choose. i suppose fierce deity link isnt in as many games so maybe this might encourge another apperance some way. Oni Dark Link
  3. Puh-lease. He's a Deity! That's a God. Dark Link is, what? a living shadow? He took five seconds to beat in OoT. Besides, the giant sword and cooler outfit. ZehnWaters
  4. He is awsome he has some cool sword=]
  5. Erm... well, Fierce Deity Link can beat all three forms of the Majora's Mask in less than a minute, normal Link can defeat Dark Link in less than a minute..... so based off of that Fierce Deity Link>Dark Link. Not to mention, Fierce Deity is like 8 feet tall, looks amazing, and has a gigantic double helix sword as big as he is that shoots energy beams. Long range for the win? Triforce 14
  6. I don't know if I'm biased because I love Majora's Mask so much (the game, not the mask itself), but for whatever reason, I'm going with this guy. Dark Link is awesome, but Fierce Deity Link is more awesome. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 21:12, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
  7. There's a reason Fierce Deity is reserved for boss battles alone. Portal-Kombat
  8. Umm...Ya what's the word I'm looking for Deity!--Power courage wisdom and time 01:48, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
  9. there are too many reasons for FDL being the better.... --Link4midna 09:59, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
  10. Fierce Deity Link is a god! His sword is awesome, plus he easily beats Majora's Mask. Dark Link is killed by normal Link, and he isn't even a final boss. ~ Polaris000
  11. Dark Link is cool, but Fierce Deity is just... epically epic. Bek The Conqueror 23:38, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
  12. way too powerful too lose. Solar flute
  13. Fierce gets my vote cause the design is more detailed, more interesting than just plain black Behellmorph 12:41, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
  14. He's the only dude who can actually stand a chance against Majora, so he gets my vote and dark link can't even defeat Normal Link. User:King Boo
  15. I look at it this way: Link beat Dark Link. So wouldn't it make sense that a more powerful form of Link would still beat Dark Link? And in order to avoid those 50+ people who say "Your supposed to say which one you like better, not which one would win in a fight," I decide which one I would like better by deciding who should theoretically win in a fight between the two. --Moblin Slayer 20:02, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
  16. Fierce deity link is more powerful and cooler than dark link.Young link

Anonymous votes[]

  1. HE IS A DIETY, and his sword is AWESOME!!! Plus, it can shoot sword beams! Can Dark Link? I DIDN'T THINK SO.
  2. As much as I love Dark Link, Fierce Deity would slaughter him. His sword shoots magic beams and he is about eight feet tall.
  3. Fierce Diety Link is way more muscular and could easily kill Dark Link.
  4. He's just awesome. That's all that's to it. Dark Link is powerful and all, but I think an 8 foot tall Deity would win in a fight.
  5. he can kill a extremely powerful life fourm with like 20 hits more than dark link could ever do.
  6. He's like as tall as a door and has a huge double helix sword hes also awsome so is dark link but dark link isnt a deity he's just links shadow
  7. Sorry ya'll love em both but oni (demon) link pones dark link end of story, would be fun to watch though
  8. Well, you have to rember that Dark Link is just Link's opposite, while Fierce Deity Link is a frickin' god! Plus, he's bigger, he's cooler looking, and he beat Majora in a matter of minutes. He's clearly better. Sincerely, Watcher.
  9. Think of it like this, if Fierce Diety Link is what Majora (the totally evil Goddess of frickin awesomeness) thinks is a "bad guy", then he's pretty tough!
  10. Dark link is a palette swap of Link. Fierce Deity Link is a GOD
  11. Fierce Deity is a designers way of saying: 'thank you for playing my game, now I place gods powers in you'.
  12. If you use your Biggoron Sword on Dark Link you can beat him too easily. Just keep stabbing. I bet you wont beat Fierce Deity so easily now would you? Besides, Dark Link is only a minion not a playable character.
  13. Fierce Deity Link hands down. I didn't care that much about how Majora was practically a pushover when you used him. He just looked like a god in human form should look.
  14. The Fierce Deity should, in any real battle, slaughter Dark Link. Dark Link is Link's mirror image: in appearance, power, and skill. Whereas the Fierce Deity is, well, a God, and is at least as powerful as Majora, and much stronger than Link, in any form.
  15. He's just REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY Awesome.
  16. Fierce Deity can easily defeat a FINAL boss, while dark Link is a MINI boss(unless we're counting Zelda II Dark Link as well as OoT). Besides, Deity is a good guy, and good always triumphs over evil.
  17. I love them both but Fierce Deity would kick dark link's ass.

Votes for Dark Link[]

  1. I have to say Dark Link beause I have incounter him in Ocarina, but I don't have that mask of the Fierce Deity Link. (I think that's how it's spelled) User:Dragonmaster kayla
  2. To be politically correct, I vote for the black one. Dark Link also gets my vote because he's a very random, mysterious bastard, and people who claim that he is easy to beat are either liars, cheaters, or so good at gaming they should receive instant assisted suicice. Dark Link owns Diet Coke Link any day of the week, and you know so well that I'm not just sayin'...I'm just sayin'. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 19:21, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
  3. Fierce deity mask may be pretty hard to get, but it makes Majora too easy, besides, Dark Link is scary, fierce deity is just weird looking, lol. Raz 06:27, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
  4. Fierce deity was once a living being, but isn't anymore. Everything it wants could be destroyed, but it has no power to prevent it without link. Dark link can achieve his goals...usually because his goals involve destroying whatever disturbs it. Dialask77 14:20, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. ummmmm.......... HILL JUST COPY HIM! ANYTHING HE CAN DO DARKLINK CAN DO! U SAY NO? LINK TO THE PAST GBA! User:Darklink1026
  6. Dark link can actually train and prepare for battle. Fierce deity is cramped inside of a mask with nothing. Plus Dark links Oot arena is AWESOME! Peakprovince 19:00, 14 January 2009
  7. He's made of shadow and is pitch black with red eyes. Appearance decides his. -LeoLab 23:08, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
  8. This is a really tough one, but I choose Darky because A: He's the underdog and B: He has mad sword skills. Who else can jump on Link's sword!? Oddball464 20:56, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

9 Dark Link FTW!!!! Wooo! XD Xicera The most misterous vilan in the series.OddGoron

Anonymous votes[]

  1. Dark Link is a reverse Link is a reverse Link, and Fierce Deity Link is just Link wearing a goofy mask.
  2. Im going to vote for the under dog because the Fierce Deity is just an easy way to beat Majora. I like to kill bosses the way they were ment to be killed.
  3. dark link...
  4. Even though I like them both, I vote for Dark Link. Not only has he appeared in more games, he is the shadow of the Hero of Time, meaning he should have all of Link's moves, but he's also not confined to a mask. Seriously, the Fierce Deity is only available because of his mask, without it he's nothing. While Dark Link isn't bound by that same limitation.
  5. Without any magic power, Fierce Deity is just about useless. Dark Link copies his nemesis' form, perfects it and finds new ways to kill the Hero of Time.
  6. Dark Link!!!
  7. Best Zelda Character EVER!

Sigh...all the inevitable faulty spellings of Deity might be the death of me... --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 18:10, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Great... I just cant decide who to vote for... -PhantomGanonUsurper27

I saw this typo storm coming the second this fight was announced. Portal-Kombat

Hey guys, I just need to know, what did I do to mess everything up? Sincerely, Watcher.

Wow, Solar Flute wasn't kidding about leaving the temple, I thought he'd be back in a few weeks.

My, this seems to be very controversial. Most everyone likes both of them... Dialask77 02:57, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

This is a good fight and the best I've seen so far. It's so strange- two of the most powerful characters in the Zelda universe have little to no explanation to how they originated. The fight against Dark Link in the Water Temple was completely unexplainable. Was it a hallucination? Or maybe something more? As for Fierce Deity, he's kind of... out there. Portal-Kombat

Thank you very much, but what's with user-vote number four for Fierce Deity? It should either be taken down or labeled with the user's name. No conflict of interest here, because I actually voted for Fierce Deity as well. Bek The Conqueror 03:50, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
emm mr Polaris000 you need to brush up on your zelda. dark link is a final boss. quite a hard one since most final bosses are quite easy.Oni Dark Link
Polaris000 was probably referring to Dark Link's appearance as a miniboss in Ocarina of Time, but like you said, he's also the final boss of Zelda 2 as well. Portal-Kombat

What's wrong wih the numbering? -LeoLab 23:05, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm back. I would of returned sooner but I got distracted by my new wii. Now I can be helpful(ish) for wind waker and twilight princess pages. Solar flute

I agree with Leo Leab. Someone severely screwed with the numbering system. We gotta fix that. Sincerely, Watcher.

Whoa, how are we supposed to fix that? For that matter, how did it happen in the first place? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 03:00, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, my guess is that it's a glitch in the system. I checked back nearly 500 edits (back when Arrghus vs. Barrinade was still young), and it was still all messed up. I also checked the voting section, and everythinglooks normal. I don't know what exactly is going on. Sincerely, Watcher.

I'm not entirely sure what we can do to fix this, but AuronKaizer will probably tell us to ask Richard1990. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:31, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Correction for Polaris000, Dark Link is a final boss in Zelda II. Oddball464 20:59, 14 January (UTC)

Is this where I quote you and ask "was that really necessary", XZ? :P --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 12:04, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Maybe this is part of dark links black magic, or the fierce deity's godly powers? We should either fix it or do something completely proposterous...number it by hand! People keep saying dark link is just a dark colored version of link, when he is (in ocarina of time) rather shiny, if I recall correctly. Dialask77 13:27, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Now you're just being picky for the heck of it :P as for the error, it's probably an error in the Wikia programming, I've heard reports of the same problem from other wikis. Let's wait a while before we try what Dialask suggested. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 13:46, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

It may not be necessary, but I fail to see how it was unnecessary. It's not like I'm saying anything offensive or anything. All I said was that you'd probably tell us to ask Richard1990. Are you somehow offended by people talking about your recurring reccomendations? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:40, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Not particularly, but I guess the only normal reason I could think of why people would want to say something like that is to make fun of someone. I sure wouldn't say something like that as it could easily be taken the wrong way. But I know you, and you say random things like that for God knows what reason. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 23:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Riiight, because you never say things that are often taken the wrong way :P (I put that thing at the end of the sentence, so there's no way you could possibly take offense, right?) Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:11, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

dear god why do you dislike each other so much??? Oni Dark Link

Wait what's wrong with the numbering? —Triforce 14(...) 21:11, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

We don't necessarily "dislike" each other per se, we just have personality conflicts. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Really, neither of them will win because Dark Link will just copy everything that the Deity Link does. Twoface13

Dark Link can only copy regular Link's moves, and even then he can only replicate the sword and shield, not any other items (imagine Din's Fire >_<) Portal-Kombat

Unless it turns out that dark link is more of a magic entity than an actual one. I think that dark link is more of a...spell of sorts. One that summons a creature that is the complete opposite of whatever it is summoned against. That, and you forget that Fierce Deity can't use items so he COULD copy his every technique...(theoretically):P Dialask77 05:21, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

I know very well that Fierce Deity Link can't use items, but he's powerful enough without them. Believe me, I've tried to make him use items, but unlike all of Link's other transformations he won't even take out an instrument when I use the Ocarina. Either way, Dark Link being a spell is completely theoretical. And even if I was to agree that Dark Link was a spell and turned into Dark Fierce Deity Link, normal Link defeated Dark Link (you can do it without Din's Fire, it's just very hard) so there's no reason Fierce Deity Link couldn't defeat his own clone. Portal-Kombat

True, but he would give him a fun time if he copied him lol. Dialask77 15:10, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm all for speculation, anyways. That's part of the problem for me with Fierce Deity Link. As awesome as he is... well, he's too overpowered and for me he took all the fun out of the final boss battle of Majora's Mask. It's much cooler to do with Deku/Zora/Human forms. Portal-Kombat

theres no real proof dark link cant use items in ocerina of time (i presume thats the game your talking about). just because he doesnt, doesnt mean he cant and if we take dark link as all the games he appeared in then he does use items in four sword adventure. o yeah and i was board so i looked up the exact meaning of deity on wikipedia and found out that its not a god but can do nearly everything a god can ... not really relevent but just thought id stick it in. Oni Dark Link

The ones that use items in Four Swords Adventures are referred to as Shadow Links, I believe. These are weaker versions that are mass-produced, unlike the loner Dark Link encountered in Zelda 2 and Ocarina of Time. If Dark Link could possibly use items but never did then we'd have to pretty much speculate what every enemy in the entire series' "unused abilities" are. Not that it's wrong. It would just take a long, long time. Portal-Kombat

yes it would take quite a long time and your also right about the shadow links but i still think its not completely right to say that he CANT use other wepons. i mean theres noreason why he shouldnt be able too. Oni Dark Link

I have come up with a 2 new theories. 1.)Since they are both powerful, they will just keep fighting until they become too exhausted to continue fighting. 2.) Dark Link will just take the mask off link's face and shatter it to make the fight a little more fair, then fight until they are to exhausted. What do u think?--Twoface13 19:25, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Ooh you just gave me an idea. What if when he takes off the mask he puts it on himself and makes a dark fierce diety link? Metroidhunter32 19:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Actually that thought had occured 2 me but i thought that would be pushing it a little. Though now that sum1 else said it i think its a great idea lol. --Twoface13 19:40, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

one flaw. how would dark link get near enough to deity to rip it off with out getting cut in half? Oni Dark Link

When dark link tells him his shoe is untied and when deity link realises he wears boots without laces lol.--Twoface13 19:48, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

lol. dark link cant talk (even though theres no proof he cant) though so hed have to just point at deitys shoes Oni Dark Link

Or they could take a break, learn sign language, get some coffee, and come back, lol. But by then Deity link will know what he's up 2. Wait. Can't the dark link from four swords talk?--Twoface13 22:27, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

dont think so or at least i cant recall him talking. i think he laughed alot though. Oni Dark Link

well i've never played it so i don't recall--Twoface13 18:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Bad news. The problem with the numbering isn't only here it is everywhere on this site AND over on wikitroid. Metroidhunter32 18:44, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

SmashWiki's been affected, too. I think that this is a problem that affects all of Wikia. Probably not the first person to say this, but what the heck, I'll say it anyway. Bek The Conqueror 19:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I have seen strange numbering around the site but, what does that have to do with Dark Link vs. Fierce Diety Link (P.S. I put Dark Link first because he's better, lol)--Twoface13 18:48, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

This fight was where it was first noticed and mentioned so I choose to put it here. Metroidhunter32 19:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I asked Richard1990 about this (since he is very knowledgeble of these types of things,) and heres what he told me:

The problem's been fixed, it just may take a few hours/days/weeks for the servers to update.

Basically, we'll just have to wait until the servers update. --Moblin Slayer 20:55, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

well it looks ok now on my computer at least. Oni Dark Link

I'm back, and I've got a few things I'd like to say. First of all, it's great to be back here and to see you all again. So, down to business. First off the bat, my computer is still showing 1 1 1 1 1..., so what's up with that? Second, should we start checking the non user votes, because I noticed some really inapropriate comments. Just a suggestion... Next, we have the matter of getting a new fight started, which is really confusing, because King Bulbin vs. Iron Knuckle and Garo vs. Sheika are tied. My opinion, we should just go with whoever has more negative votes, whataya say? So, nothing else to say but GREAT TO BE BACK! Sincerely, Watcher.

watcher why dont you sign with a link to your name? Oni Dark Link

In response to Watcher's comment:

King Bulbin vs. Iron Knuckle is winning. The next fight is chosen by which one has the highest score. Basically, the score is the number of support votes minus the number of oppose votes. That means that King Bulbin vs. Iron Knuckle has a score of 4 or 5 (Somewhere around there, yes?) while Garo vs. Shiekah has a score ofabout 1 or 2. As for the comments, although we can tell people not to say certain things, these are anonymous (did I spell that right?) voters and usually don't pay any heed to any rules. --Moblin Slayer 22:27, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

A couple of things. First, the numbers are correct now (for me, at least), but they're now going to the bottom of the comments rather than to the top. Second, I think it's been over a week. Also, Watcher doesn't sign with a link because he (she? I'm not sure if Watcher has ever clarified what gender he/she is) isn't a user here; he/she is an anonymous user that uses a makeshift "username" so we know that it's him/her and not just some random anonymous user. Week 29: Resistance vs. Tetra's Pirates[]

Shad Telma Auru Rusl Ashei Winner!
"Resistance!" 22>13

Tetra and Pirates
LLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN, Zeldapedia once again brings to you another ECW Extreme Rules bout. If you have not already visited the concession stand, we strongly suggest (*points raygun at you*) that you do so now! Because the calories you do not ingest today may haunt you in the morrow! ...Alright!

In the golden-tinted corner, we have a collection of misfits that would make Charlie Manson's family look like the Camdens! Geeks, substance abusers and senile old men abound! Unofficial rogue assistants to the Royal Family that may blast you to bits with a bazooka if you don't think twice! THIS...IS...THE GROUP!

In the blue corner, we have the most fearsome group of pirates ever to sail the Great Sea! Led by Tetra, these buccaneers frequently display workings of piracy that would make ThePirateBay.org crap their drawers! And our survey says...THEY ARE TETRA AND HER HOST OF DEADLY, DEADLY NINJA(Citation not needed) PIRATES!!!!

And now, feast your eyes upon a GORE SPECTACLE BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS! PIRATES VS. VIGILANTES! THE REBELS VS. THE ESTABLISHMENT! A BATTLE TO END ALL BATTLES! AND here...we...GO!

(Why so serious?)

Votes for the Resistance[]

  1. The Group's members all have something to do with the storyline and they were all given more of a personality than most of Tetra's pirates. Tough choice though... LapisScarab 19:34, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. I'd say that the people whose version of helping Link includes shooting enemies with bazookas beat the idiots who think helping Link entails shooting him out of a cannon and getting him to lose his sword any day. Plus, it's easier to take them seriously than people like, say... Niko... Bek The Conqueror 21:01, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  3. I'll vote for the guys that actually help you (LOLO substance abusers? I only remember one). -LeoLab 00:31, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
  4. I gonna give my vote to these guys. Who wouldn't vote for a crazy scholar, a ninja, an old man, a guy with a golden cucoo, and a lady whose breasts can actually attack you? Blitz2121 02:47, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. I don't know why I just like these guys better. Metroidhunter32 14:44, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
  6. they are more interesting! User:Stardude613
  7. The group have more depth than the pirates, and they don't make you swing around the cargo hold of a ship. Raz 21:13, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
  8. Interesting, but I haven't played WW for a while and STILL remember how frustrating that cargo hold thing was. That and the group is drawn better and they have a cool cat. Dialask77 14:11, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
  9. Besides looking a whole lot cooler (and decidedly less...uh..."effeminate") they seem a whole lot more competent. ZehnWaters 14:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
  10. Tetra's Pirates are used more as comic relief while The Group has a good amount of storyline significance (Although I think Link could have killed those enemies on his own nearby the end...) OiXerxes 04:13, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
  11. More diverse and better weapons. OddGoron
  12. Shad was part of a fatal glitch. The pirates weren't. On top of that, you can take them seriously. Auru and his bazooka for example... Vallunge 21:44, 7 January 2009
  13. Most of the pirates are little kids. My vote goes to the Group. Oddball464 20:30, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
  14. The Group is WAY more cooler and has WAY more story value. Also, The Group's members actually go to places to investigate the evil growing there, while the Pirates simply go to places to get treasure. PhantomGanonUsurper27 15:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
  15. the group are nicer and easier to get on with....

--Link4midna 19:03, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

  1. Ignoring my being a fan of the Pirates, lets look at this logically. Tetra's Pirates can barely fight, or even think for themselves! They had never been in a fight before, but The Group is full of skilled fighters, a nerd, and one strange bartender, with some experience in war. They seem much smarter and much more coordinated then Tetra's Pirates. So, Telma > Tetra
  2. Tetra is to small to be a leader and Niko is annoying!
  3. Well, you have to admit that the Group helped out Link a lot more than Tetras Pirates did. After all, these guys got him into Aribitars Grounds, Snowpeak, the City in the Sky, the Temple of Time, and saved his butt when all those monsters ganged up on him. You also have to remember that Telma helped save Ralis and her cat got him into Hyrule Castle. The Pirates, by comparison, started his quest (at the cost of his sister), got him into the Forsaken Fortress (at the cost of his sword), and helped save Aryul (no real cost there, but they kinda ditched him...). In my eyes, the Group owns the Pirates any day! Sincerely, Watcher.
  4. Tetra is to short and to spunky to work well in a group the just works better.
  5. Nicko can't do anything and is useless.
  6. The others are useless too!
  7. The don't look like they could take The Group!
  8. Sure they have more people, but are not as well rounded as The Group.
  9. The Group are rebels and must be very brave to rebel against Hyrule's new monarch, King Zant. Did the pirates ever do anything that important? Plus, half of the pirates look like they don't now what they're doing. And the Group is WAY cooler. Who needs pirates???
  10. well, what reasons do you need??
  11. The pirates look like tards and the group look awesome so work it out for yourself.....
  12. Not only are the pirates good for nothing idiots who really dont help you much but they also look retarded. plus the group is cool and secret and of coarse they have a Bazooka! exept shad is kindof an idiot but they are still cool.
  13. Even though the pirates are mad enough to face up to a ferocios roc they were busy getting drunk on WindFall while you did all the work. The Group on the other hand were the guys who made you feel you wern't alone against the king of evil, always helping you out when you needed it. Rusl is after all your friend and mentor and the guy who taught you how to fight. Considering the bosooka, the hawk and years of experince I would vote for them.

Votes for Tetra's Pirates[]

  1. Let me break this down through the wonderful mechanics of Pythogoran math; Pirates > everything else. The Group = Everything else. There just is no chance that these sorry excuses for exposition should be able to beat a pirate, much less a whole host of pirates. They may be worse at piracy than Guybrush Threepwood even, but having to be a good pirate is not a prerequisite. The Group should just go back to their hideout before the pirates blast a hole in their solar plexi. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 07:49, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. Tetra's Pirates all the way. User:Dragonmaster kayla
  3. The only cool one in "The Group" is the old guy with the bazooka! The Group did have one awesome cutscene but Tetra and the Pirates are some of my favorite characters in the series- behind Linebeck. Portal-Kombat
  4. Well, considering they have a boat, they could easily just get in it and bombard The Group until nothing remains but... well you get the point. Plus they're pirates, need I say more? Triforce 14 18:06, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  5. I love every member of Tetra's Pirates individually, as well as the group as a whole. The only part of The Group that I feel any sort of connection to is Shad, and that's only because he's a geek, like me. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 21:21, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  6. pirates > rebels, basic math--Power courage wisdom and time 21:24, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  7. At least you can label Tetra's pirates (they're all pirates.) You know something isn't right when the bet name you can think of is "The Group." --Moblin Slayer 03:07, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
  8. King yoshi42 Bazooka vs. Cannon. Cannon wins. Especially if cannon is really Link in a barrel.
  9. Tetra's Pirates by far.--Windu223 17:03, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

  1. Tetra's pirates look so much cooler. Besides, they give you a hard time getting the bombs. I really hated it to swing from torch to torch in te set time..
  2. Tetra was awesome in WW. Her pirates even had sweet canons to shoot people with. The group only had one good point, the final dungeon where they got you the big key. WW>TP.
  3. Tetras pirates and the group are both in games that I have so it's a tricky decision but I will go with the pirates because they are in the Wind Waker ( A game I have finished almost two times) And with the pirates you do three things and with the group you only do one.
  4. Tetra and her pirates are way better so they are going to win.
  5. TETRA'S PIRATES ARE PART OF THE ROYAL FAMILY!!!!
  6. Zeldamaniac95
  7. These guys are pirates! PIRATES! More than enough said. Not to mention Wind Wasker is my all time favorite zelda game.
  8. Oh my god, no contest, Tetra and the Pirates all the way.

The introduction for the fight seems a little biased, eh? -LeoLab 00:32, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

I agree. We should fire whomever wrote that! --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 05:27, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Who cares? It's not serious enough for anybody to really get offended or anything. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 13:35, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Blitz2121 that sounds a little bit sexist. Metroidhunter32 14:46, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Hm, it's definitely something, but I wouldn't say it's sexist. I mean, he's not saying anything about how a certain gender is worse than the other, and he's not subconciously using male pronouns. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 16:50, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Its not sexist. Ii may be a little on the bad side, but hey, its the truth! xD Blitz2121 18:14, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Technically not sexist, but not appropriate at all.

Ok. I think we should just make a rule saying that no one should be allowed make any inappropriate comments or usernames. I'm also saying usernames too because if you look at one of the names below on the votes for zant's hand side, someone has the name Majorasbrokencondom. User:Dragonmaster kayla

Yeesh, you're right. I know the internet is supposed to give people freedom, but that's just a little too disturbing. By the way, I don't wana die, so where's the concession stand? Sincerely, Watcher.

Hehe, here we go again with the sexism eh? I'm not gonna say anything. Well, Wikipedia does have a policy against offensive usernames and I think we should too. There's no reason to have a name that intentionally offends people. We should discuss this somewhere else, though. Or I suppose we could do it here. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 23:33, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, I really don't have a clue exactly what we could do about this. Do any of you guys have an idea? User:Dragonmaster kayla

We can't exactly ban people for putting weird stuff like this on, so that's one option out the door. On an unrelated note, WHERE IS THAT BLOODY SNACK BAR!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I DON'T WANNA DIE! Sincerely, Watcher.

Regarding Moblin Slayer's comment in his vote, please don't anyone start with the bickering about whether the organization's name should be "The Group" or the "Adventurer's Guild" again. Not pointing fingers at all, just kindly telling people not to start anything petty that will force an admin like our good AuronKaizer to intervene. OK? Bek The Conqueror 03:45, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

For some reason, I don't think it was directed to whether or not this or that is the name of the organization, but rather pointing out that it is a pretty unimaginative name in general. I could be wrong, I guess. Nah, who am I kidding, right Moblin? >.> I sure wish Nintendo would release official names more often...at least in Final Fantasy they name EVERY SINGLE THING and release it in some form. Well, almost. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 10:04, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I know, but I just wanted to head off any further argument on that subject before it started. Just trying to stop anybody from flaming each other. Bek The Conqueror 00:00, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Okay, today at school, I thought of an idea about the unappropriate usernames...crap, it's gone. I'll tell you guys what it is if I can remember it. Sorry. I wish, I wish, I had a fish...wow I'm random today. User:Dragonmaster kayla

What does the name thing really matter? Tetras Pirates were never refered to as such. Unless something has an official name, I don't think we should care. Just a thought... Sincerely, Watcher.

This is actually pretty even so far. Whoever came up with this match, good idea. LapisScarab 20:44, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I try to make suggestions that pit two different types of Zelda players against each other, so to speak, e.g. Wind Waker lovers vs. Classic Link lovers, MM fans vs. OoT lovers, and so forth. Bek The Conqueror 21:11, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm on the Wind Waker, MM fan side of the spectrum. OoT and TP were good games but neither are in my top ten list. And The Group really didn't do anything useful, Link could've taken on those monsters at the Big Key himself with no problem. If anything they should've helped him get the other key guarded by the much harder Aerolfos! Now that's one thing I would've mind seeing shot with a bazooka, especially at close range... I really want that to be an item in a new Zelda game. Portal-Kombat
I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion. On the flip side, I'm allowed to disagree with every fiber of my soul, (about MM and WW, not the bazooka...) just so long as I don't offend or flame anybody, neh? Bek The Conqueror 03:44, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

I liked TP, not as much as OoT, though. Windwaker was a bit more redundant than I would have liked. Too much time spent sailing around trying to get to where you're going. It's dull too. You get attacked by the odd Gyorg, but that's it. Tp's "hub" is Hyrule field, and it's chock full of things just waiting to be sliced up. Plus, it had a deliciously irritating fatal glitch. I had to send my disc in for repair. Vallunge

I liked TP a lot, but what annoyed me most of all is that they pulled Ganondorf back onto the scene. Farore knows we've had enough of him already. Zant (assuming he didn't work for Ganondorf and wasn't Michael Jackson's estranged cousin) would've been a much better, more epic and sinister villain. When I saw that first cutscene with him and those twilight monsters... I really got my hopes up. If the game had been like the first trailer, with Link fighting that army of bulblins and running from a much cooler incarnation of Gohma than the one in the final version, with actually creepy dead-looking ghosts and that HUGE version of Fyrus (know the one I mean?) it could've been the best game ever. Portal-Kombat

Guys, please don't start a Twilight Princess vs. Wind Waker war. You guys seem to have the sense to not insult the games when you're saying that you preferred a different one, but not a lot of people seem to, and if other people get involved in this conversation, eventually it's going to be reduced to needlessly insulting certain games. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 07:27, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Oh man. This seemed like an insanely close fight at first, but now The Group is winning by quite a bit. Just once I'd like to see a Temple of Courage fight where you don't know who's going to win halfway through. Oh, and just so I don't offend anybody, I'm not saying that this is a bad fight or anything...I'm just saying, we never get fights that are as even as I'd like them to be. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 07:35, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Well then to be fair I have to give props to the group for the bazooka guy. But if this fight really happened, the pirates would win. The group has a barkeeper who just serves as the headquarters person, a guy who reads a lot... the only threats are the two swordfighters and the bazooka guy. On the other hand, at least all the small pirates have knives and the other three pirates are pretty much brute force. Portal-Kombat

I don't know why you can't just ban the unapropriate usernames. Wikitroid does it and just tells them to come back in under a different name and Portal-Komabt. One word; Brains. The group can out think and stratigecly destroy the pirates. Metroidhunter32 01:57, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

PK, two things. First off, I really don't see how TP could have possibly been any better than it was, but that's just me. Second, in case you've forgoten, bazookas and swords beat strength and knives any day. Sincerely, Watcher.

I say we should do that too, Metroidrunter32. It's probably the best thing we could do. User:Dragonmaster kayla

Um, yeah, are you guys even listening to me? Let's not start a war here. On a side note, I really hate how rude the anonymous voters always are (especially anonymous voter 12 for The Group). Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:38, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. I might seem a bit hypocritical saying this, but please just state your opinions about the characters in the fight in your actual vote. Nobody wants a flame war here. Bek The Conqueror 23:48, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Watcher, TP could've been better:

  • Actually dangerous bosses
  • More horseback combat
  • Putting old items back to use again (Gale Boomerang, anyone?)
  • When you use the spinner, you actually ride it instead of just using it for gears in City in the Sky
  • Octoroks. They killed the series' longest running tradition.
  • I was expecting a darker Zelda title. But Majora's Mask is still the darkest.
  • No Ganondorf! Talk about a stale villain with no new motives. He's like Bowser at this point.
  • Actual control of the camera in Hyrule Castle Town

...I could come up with a much longer list. But I'm not enough of a fan or hater of TP to do so. As for the group defeating the pirates, it seems illogical to think that generally unarmed pirates could take on the group. But assuming that this battle takes place on the sea, the pirates would have a ship and the group wouldn't have anything. Pirates win there. Is there a setting for all these battles, anyway? Portal-Kombat

I guess I'll have to give you some of that. Admitably, the lack of a rideable Spinner, Octorocks, and decent horseback combat, but the point in my original comment was that there's so much good stuff in TP, the bad things are kind of easy to overlook. Additionaly, I'm not trying to start a war XYZ. I like WW and TP equaly. I'm sorry if I came of like that. I'll be carefuller in the future. Finally, if we're going to change tonight, we need a picture of Fierce Deity Link. Sincerely, Watcher.

Never mind, I just remembered we have one. Sincerely, Watcher.

Yeah, Twilight Princess did a lot more right than it did wrong. I'd give it a 93/100. But it could always be better, like any game. That being said, I think... I liked it better than Ocarina of Time. Well what more can I say about the pirates? It's time to move on to the next fight. Portal-Kombat

I used a cool Fierce Deity picture for a custom userbox...the name was generic numbers though. Dialask77 23:33, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Fierce Deity's cool but he made the final boss of Majora's Mask way too easy! It's more fun to use your other transformations to fight it. Well, I guess it depends on your style of fighting. Portal-Kombat

Uhh, guys, I need help. I tried to set up the next weeks Temple of Courage, but I screwed it up big time. If someone could fix it that would be great, and I swear I had nothing but good intentions, and will not try this again. Sincerely (and sorrily), Watcher.
