With school ending soon (Thursday) I'm going to start changing it on Sundays again. Since when I first started changing it, it was a Thursday, and this week's fight was a fluke to happen on Thursday (It was just up for a while). But since I'll be free more on Sunday I'm going to be changing it on Sundays hopefully weekly again. Just thought I'd let the wiki know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jäzzi (talk • contribs)
"DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING BELOW THIS LINE!!!" Rules[]
Jäzzi– I wish it didn’t have to be so bad - "Wendy Clear", Blink-182 TALK– {{{time}}} - Editcount · Contributions · Sandbox
I feel that if people place something below the "DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING BELOW THIS LINE!!!" their vote should be removed as you can read in the section that there is a place where you can't place your votes. If someone places their vote below the line, it is clear they didn't read it, which means they probably haven't read the rules. It's common sense, and you'd think since it's in CAPs it'd be obvious and would catch someone's attention. So personally, if users or IPs can't place a vote above the line, their vote should be removed and one will alert them on their talk page. Thoughts?

I think they should be alerted on their talk page that their vote has been removed and instructed to read over the rules. That makes sense to me. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 18:08, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
How does "If your vote is placed under the warning line, it will be removed and you will be alerted of it." sound? – Jazzi (talk) 18:28, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
I think something like that works. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 18:44, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
There's an THREADTITLEHERE I've had that's been malchicking around the old rassoodox for more than a few nochies, oh my brothers. What if we, like, were to add something to the ToC coding that allowed us to clearly point out what game an opponent is from. Nothing major, perhaps something like small versions of the logos in each individual's space on the template. This has been a problem for as long as your humble narrator can remember.

Well, considering people don't know what game Crescent Island is when the image clearly isn't from the game they think it's from, I'm all game.

As we all well know, I'm not really good with writing introductions, like, at all. And I was wondering if someone would want to hop on board with me to do introductions when the Temple of Courage gets changed? I'm heading into what should be my last year of school so my time might be lesser than it was in previous school years, so having someone who'll help with the introductions will be great. Minish has been helping with the last few weeks, and if he wants to help that'd be great. And yeah, it's not really a "I need one person to help and only one person" it's a "Whoever wants to help is able to help as long as the introduction is well written and follows suit with the rest." The people need to have access to Pastebin so that they can paste the introductions there and provide me with the link for when I change the fight. It'd also be great if this person had a good sense of color picking, or you could use colorschemedesigner which I use, and formatting and the like and knows where everything goes, so that when I can't do the ToC someone will be able to catch it and update it.
TL;DR: I need someone to help me with writing the introductions. This person needs to be able to use pastebin and provide me the link. This person should also be able to change the ToC when needed and/or be willing to learn how to.
Thankies!

Going to give this a bump since this popped up and the introduction is the main reason why I cannot update it on time.
I'd like to write introductions, I've got access to Pastebin, I've got a sense of color picking, and I'd be more than willing to learn how to change the ToC! :)

The whole thing with color picking is it can't just be random color picking. The way I do it is I use a color that is in the image. There are a few in-browser add-ons that you can use to pick colors from the image, but I prefer Photoshop Elements (GIMP/Paint.NET for those who don't feel like purchasing something) for picking the color. And then colorschemedesigner picks colors close to that color, which is good, because you don't want ugly contrast and one color too bright while the other is too dark.
Do you have a way of providing me/whoever is doing the ToC that week with the pastebin file? I don't like putting the frame up without the intro and as such it'll have to be a system. If you've skype, you can add me on it and I'll add you into the ZP group and you can exchange the file through that.
So not that I'm any semblance of active myself, but a thing that's been brought up in the Skype channel as of late is slapping an inactivity/hiatus notice on this thing because it hasn't been updated in like six months or something completely ridiculous. Nobody's updating it, nothing's happening, and it's just kind of sitting there, so I feel like we should put a notice that the ToC is on some kind of hiatus until people take it up again.

Definitely needed. I tried pestering Sir Real about the introduction, and it never happened, but after a bit I stopped bothering. When we possibly get more contributors it can be updated again.

More than just contributors I think a big thing we're lacking is actual content. I would honestly just wait for the next Zelda game to come out before pretending we can keep this thing going for any reasonable stretch of time.

Well I think a better way to keep it going is to let more users make suggestions even though they don't have enough main-page edits. But it does seem like Zeldapedia has slowed down a bit since last year, and I'd like to see ToC make a comeback. DekuSpenstar (talk) 22:20, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
