"So... what are you doin'?"
— Zill

Zill is a recurring character in the Legend of Zelda series. He is a child, easily recognized by the large strand of mucus that always hangs down from his nose.

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker[]

Zill from The Wind Waker

Born on Outset Island, Zill is known for his quizzical attitude. This is often found to be quite bothersome, as Zill follows Link around and bumps into him whenever he comes in contact. He is the younger brother of Joel, and the son of Abe and Rose. His most recognizable feature is arguably the large strand of mucus hanging from his nose. Once Link leaves Outset Island, Zill can be found inside his house. When talked to, he reveals to Link that he and Joel consumed the pigs (besides the first one) that Link collected at the beginning of the game.

Inside of the Cabana on the Private Oasis, Link finds a puzzle that, when solved correctly, forms a picture of Zill.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap[]

Zill from The Minish Cap

Zill attends the Funday School in Hyrule Town. He can often be found wandering around with his friends, Candy and Lolly. Joel can also be found at the school, but it is not directly stated that they are brothers this time. It is possible for Link to fuse Kinstones with him. Additionally, if Link talks to Zill two times in a row at some point while Zill is waiting outside the school playground, Zill will follow him around Hyrule Town.
